Welcome to week one of my new PERMA series to help you all through this time of social isolation.
So, what are emotions? This question could be answered in many ways from the biological perspective of chemical messengers to the psychology behind our thought processes. Fundamentally, they are a 'feeling' that is communicating something to you. Even negative emotions such as anger have a purpose; to fight against injustice. Self-awareness is key here and therefore emotional literacy will be explored during this week.
