What are emotions? Do you know what you are feeling and when? Do you have the words to label the feelings you identify?

The above is an emotion wheel, the colours and words make it easy to use. In order to navigate the feelings that you have identified, you will need to apply a word to it. Find the right part of the circle to start by choosing whether your feeling is negative/positive and high/low arousal. This will provide you with a section to look at in detail; energise, renew, stress and burnout. The middle words are the basic emotions and the next ring out are further words under the umbrella of the basic emotions. Once you have given a name to your feeling you can do something with it. Emotions are often signalling something to us, whether it is positive or negative.
